Over 20 GREAT Tuition-Free Schools

“Free is in everyone’s budget, but when someone really needs something to be free in order for him or her to be successful, then free is the best thing out there. All children do not need an education, they need a GOOD education. Some children are unable to go to school for free, so when free crops up for a free education for a child, we need to jump on the chance. Included in this list are some schools founded by some extremely generous and caring  individuals who had and continue to have a heart for children.

De Marillac Academy

This school was founded in 2001 and is tuition-free for low income families. The school utilizes state-of-the-art technology to reduce costs, such as an online grader, and passes these benefits to the students (parents). The Daughters of Charity and De La Salle Christian Brothers are both co-sponsors, but all donations are welcome. The school is located in one of San Francisco California’s most violent and poorest neighborhoods, but this school is a beacon of light for the children in the community. The quality of education is high and the school boasts a high graduation rate. De Marillac’s academic program emphasizes reading, writing, English, math, science and social studies.

Epiphany School

Epiphany School is an independent, tuition-free middle school for children of economically disadvantaged families from Boston neighborhoods. The school is full-service, meaning they provide medical and social services for the children as well as psychological counseling and immunizations.
